1. Parties and Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Lanfinitas AI (“Company”, “we”, “our”) and the individual or legal entity accessing or using Lanfinitas SpecFlow (“User”, “you”).

By accessing Lanfinitas SpecFlow at specflow.lanfinitas.ai or any associated subdomain, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

Users located in the European Economic Area (EEA) are afforded additional rights under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, as amended.

2. Description of Service

Lanfinitas SpecFlow is an AI-powered industrial garment specification compiler. The platform converts natural language design descriptions into structured technical specifications (techpacks), bill of materials (BOM), and manufacturing-ready outputs.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Lanfinitas SpecFlow. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using Lanfinitas SpecFlow on behalf of a legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. User Accounts and Security

Where account registration is required, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at legal@lanfinitas.ai of any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your credentials.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Platform Ownership

All source code, design elements, algorithms, industrial lexicon, terminology databases, brand assets, and underlying technology of Lanfinitas SpecFlow are the exclusive intellectual property of Lanfinitas AI and are protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

5.2 User Content

You retain ownership of all design descriptions, specifications, and content you input into Lanfinitas SpecFlow (“User Content”). By using Lanfinitas SpecFlow, you grant Lanfinitas AI a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5.3 Generated Output

Techpack outputs and generated specifications derived from your inputs are provided to you for your use. Lanfinitas AI does not claim ownership of generated outputs. However, you acknowledge that outputs are generated by AI and may require professional review before use in manufacturing.

5.4 Data for Model Improvement

Subject to your consent (obtained separately under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), anonymised and aggregated usage patterns may be used to improve the platform’s AI models. You may withdraw this consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

6. Data Protection (GDPR)

6.1 Data Controller

Lanfinitas AI acts as the Data Controller for personal data processed in connection with your use of Lanfinitas SpecFlow, within the meaning of Article 4(7) GDPR.

6.2 Legal Bases for Processing

We process personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): to provide the Service you have requested
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): for fraud prevention, security, and service improvement
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): for non-essential data collection, analytics, and marketing communications
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): where required by applicable law

6.3 Data We Collect

• Account information (email address, name) where registration is used
• Usage data (features accessed, session duration, error logs)
• Input content (design descriptions submitted to the platform)
• Technical data (IP address, browser type, device information)
• API keys provided by users in BYO-Key mode (stored in session only, not transmitted to our servers)

6.4 Your Rights under GDPR

As a data subject in the EEA, you have the following rights:

• Right of access (Art. 15): obtain a copy of your personal data
• Right to rectification (Art. 16): correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure (Art. 17): request deletion of your data
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18)
• Right to data portability (Art. 20)
• Right to object (Art. 21): object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Rights related to automated decision-making (Art. 22)

6.5 Data Retention

Account data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion request. Session data is purged within 90 days.

6.6 International Data Transfers

If we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we implement appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission under Article 46(2) GDPR.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Lanfinitas SpecFlow uses strictly necessary technical cookies for session management. Non-essential cookies are only set with your prior consent, in compliance with the ePrivacy Directive.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse engineer the platform; use Lanfinitas SpecFlow to infringe third-party intellectual property; input content that is unlawful, defamatory, or violates privacy rights; use automated scraping tools; or attempt to circumvent security measures.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Lanfinitas SpecFlow is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that outputs are error-free or suitable for direct use in manufacturing without professional review. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Company jurisdiction]. EEA consumers retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their country of residence.

11. Amendments

We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
