Getting Started

Describe your garment — Left panel
Chat with the AI until the spec is complete. The AI will ask clarifying questions about construction, fabric, silhouette, and sizing. When you see SPEC LOCKED, the AI conversation is done.

Review and complete — Right panel
Before doing anything else, go to the right panel and:
  • Check all auto-filled fields (description, seam allowance, measurements, BOM)
  • Correct any values that need adjustment
  • Fill in any empty fields you want included
  • Load your size system if needed (SIZE SYSTEM → LOAD)

Generate your style number
When the right panel is complete, click GENERATE STYLE NUMBER (right panel, below VERSION field). This creates your unique style ID. Do this before saving.

Save as draft — free, no credit used
Click SAVE (right panel, bottom — grey button above EXPORT). This saves your work to your collection. You can come back and edit it without using a credit.

Export when ready — uses 1 credit
Only when you are satisfied with everything, click EXPORT TECH PACK PDF (right panel, black button). This uses 1 credit and saves the final version to your collection. Once exported, re-exporting the same style number is free.
⚠ Do NOT click Export to "preview" — use Save first. Credits are deducted on Export, not on Save.

Trial accounts include 5 free credits. Credits do not expire within the active subscription period.
To check your remaining credits: look at the TRIAL badge in the top navigation bar, or open the Account panel (top-right icon).

Collection & Storage

Styles are saved to your account and sync across devices on login.
Trial users: Export your PDF before the 30-day mark to keep a local copy.

To organise your collection, use the folder system in the middle panel — see Section 4.

Section 04

Folders

Use folders to organise your collection by client, season, or garment category. Folders support one level of nesting (folder → subfolder).

Create a folder
In the middle panel, click + NEW FOLDER. Type a name and press Enter or click ✓.

Move a style into a folder
On any collection card, click the ⋯ menu, then choose Move to folder.

Browse folders
Click a folder name to enter it. Use ← BACK or ALL STYLES to return to the root view.

Folder names are private to your account and are not included in exported PDFs.

FAQ

I clicked Export by mistake and used a credit. Can I get it back?
If the export was caused by a system error, contact support@lanfinitasai.com with your style number and we will review your case. User-initiated exports are generally non-refundable.
Can I edit a style after saving?
Yes. Click the style in your collection, make changes in the right panel, and click Save. Editing does not use credits.
What happens when I run out of credits?
You can still save drafts and view your collection. Only Export is blocked. Upgrade your plan on the Pricing page to get more credits.
My style disappeared from the collection.
Styles sync from the cloud on login. Try refreshing the page. If the style is still missing, contact support@lanfinitasai.com with your account email.
What is the difference between Save and Export?
Save = free draft storage, no credit used, editable anytime. Your work is kept in your collection and can be reopened and changed freely.
Export = generates the final Tech Pack PDF, uses 1 credit, and saves to your collection. Re-exporting the same style number is free.
